Nalani Williams is a glass artist based in New York City. A 2012 Urban Glass Bead project graduate, she creates lampwork glass beads and pendants.
Lampworking is a type of glasswork where a torch or lamp is primarily used to melt the glass. Glass is unique material, depending on its chemistry and temperature can act in different ways, with the aid of the torch, the glass can transform from a solid rod to orange molten goop, it is impressive. Nalani creates her glass creations in the glass studios of Urban Glass of Brooklyn NY and assembles her work in her Queens studio.
